I have received a suspicious email. What should I do?

Attempts to trick you into handing over your hard-earned cash are nothing new. Whether it's counterfeit cheques, fake currency or internet phishing tricks, you should always ensure you protect yourself against potential theft by being aware of the scams that exist out there, especially online. Skrill works hard to ensure your security, but online scams and frauds will likely always exist, so it is important that you are suspicious of emails asking you for confidential information.

To recognise potentially fraudulent messages, please pay attention to the way they are addressed to you, any links they may redirect you to or the request itself.

If you receive a suspected phishing email, please contact the Skrill Help Team straight away by clicking on the available contact channel below.

Never respond to these emails and do not follow the instructions contained in them.
