How can I cancel a pending transaction made with my Skrill Mastercard?

A pending transaction is one in which Skrill is waiting to receive financial confirmation from the merchant. One of the main reasons why the funds are still showing as pending is because Skrill is waiting for the merchant to take the funds from the Skrill Account.

Unfortunately, Skrill cannot cancel a pending transaction manually. If you wish to cancel a pending transaction, please contact the merchant and have the transaction cancelled. In most cases a transaction remains pending for 7 days, after which it is cancelled automatically, and the funds are returned to your Skrill Account. The transaction will then appear in your account as cancelled.

Note: Some Skrill card* transactions that were processed for Entertainment and Travel such as: Airline Bookings, Cruise Line Bookings, Hotels/Motel Reservations, Travel Agencies/Tour Operators and Passenger Railway Bookings, as well as Automobile/Vehicle Rentals will remain in the pending state for 30 days. During that time, SKRILL is waiting for the financial advice from that merchant. Once SKRILL receives the financial advice from the of merchants, the pending transaction will be cancelled automatically, and those funds will return into your SKRILL Account. The “pending” status will then change to “cancelled”.
