What is the local bank withdrawal?


The local bank withdrawal is a withdrawal option that allows customers from the countries listed below to easily withdraw funds to their bank account:

  • Brazil
  • Mexico
  • Argentina
  • Uruguay
  • Colombia
  • Peru
  • Chile
  • China

 

How to withdraw funds to my bank account?


To initiate a withdrawal to your bank account, you will need to:


1.    Click on Withdraw button located on the right side of your Skrill account.
2.    Choose a bank account. If you haven’t registered a bank account, an Add Bank Account link is displayed to allow you to submit your bank details. *
3.    Enter the amount to be withdrawn and click on Continue.
4.    A page with your withdrawal information will appear. In order to finalize your withdrawal, you may need to provide your Personal ID, confirm you date of birth and click on Withdraw money.

*If you have an existing bank accounts, you will need to register your local bank account details anew in order to complete the withdrawal.

 

What are the fees and limits of the local bank withdrawal?


The best place to check your withdrawal limits is the Withdraw section of your account. By click on Withdraw and next to the Amount to withdraw field you can see the withdrawal limits available for your account in accordance with your available balance.


You can also check your limits by clicking on Settings and then on Limits & Verification. Please note that unverified customers have an annual bank wire withdrawal limit of 1000 EUR.


Once you reach those limits and in order to be able to withdraw funds from your Skrill account, you will need to verify your identity.


The processing fee for a withdrawal is 5.50 EUR.


If the currency of the withdrawal is different than your account currency, an additional 3.99% Foreign Exchange fee will be applied.

 

How long does it take to receive my funds in my bank account?


The processing time frame for a local bank withdrawal is from 1 up to 2 business days.
