How can I use Rapid Transfer to Send Direct?

You can use Rapid Transfer to fund your Send Direct transaction via your bank account if you are in one of the following countries: Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, UK, Poland, Hungary, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. 

Rapid Transfer will appear as an option in the ‘Fund Transfer’ section of Send Direct. The payments are processed in EUR except for UK (GBP), Poland (PLN), Hungary (HUF), Denmark (DKK), Norway (NOK), Sweden (SEK).

Can I pay using another person’s bank account? 

No, payments must come from a bank account in your name as registered on your Skrill account. We cannot accept payments from bank accounts with a different name. 

How long does a Rapid Transfer funded bank transfer take? 

Funds usually take 2-3 business days to arrive at Skrill. The Send Direct transfer will then be processed afterwards, usually within 24 hours. You will receive an email message once your payment is sent for processing.

What if the payment fails to reach the recipient? 

Any failed transfers will be returned to the sender’s bank account. Refunds are usually processed within 1-2 business days. 

Are there any limits on the amount that can be sent through Rapid Transfer? 

Yes, there are limits for single transactions as well as cumulative limits for continuous transactions. These limits vary per country and will appear on screen when you attempt to send more money than is permitted.

Can I cancel my transfer? 

Transfers cannot be cancelled once we have received your payment and sent it to your chosen destination.
