 What information do I need to Send Direct? 

Depending on the country and delivery method you choose you’ll need to fill in:  ●    The recipient’s name  ●    The recipient’s bank details or the recipient’s mobile number (when you send money to a mobile wallet)

What payment methods can I use?  At the moment you can use any of your MasterCard and Visa cards as payment methods to Send Direct. We’re working hard with our partners to build a reliable and trusted payment network that will allow provide even more payment methods in the future.   

How much can I send? 

There are some limits that depend on your payment method and transfer destination. You will see appropriate message once you enter an amount that is higher or lower than the allowed limit. 
 
How can I increase my transfer limits?  

Verifying your account or payment method may increase your limits. You can check your Skrill account for your available verification options.   


Can I send money to myself? 

Of course, you just need to enter the name and bank details that you want to send to, or your mobile number if you’re paying to a mobile wallet. It’s exactly the same as sending to someone else.   


Does the recipient need to have a Skrill account to receive money? 

No a Skrill account isn’t required to receive money using our Send Direct service. You can send money to someone’s bank or mobile wallet direct from your card. The money will be sent as fast as possible but for instantly delivery we recommend sending Skrill to Skrill. 
 

Why can’t I use my Skrill balance with Send Direct? 

A: Your Skrill balance needs to be kept separate for security and compliance. Send Direct currently allows you to use your MasterCard and Visa to pay and send as fast as possible to your recipient’s preferred delivery method. You can also use your Skrill balance to send instantly to any other person using a Skrill account. 
 
How long does it take to Send Direct? 

After receiving your funds we aim to delivery your money instantly where possible, or within 24 working hours depending on the delivery and payment methods you’ve chosen and the day of the week that you send the money.   


How much does it cost? 

A small processing fee will be charged when using Send Direct, this fee allows us to support and develop the service. If you pay using a MasterCard you may also be charged a credit card funding fee. Remember to avoid additional exchange-rate fees from banks for you and your recipient by: 
●    Sending in the same currency as your own payment method 
●    Delivering to an account using the same local currency 
 
What happens if my transfer via Send direct fails? 

If we fail to debit your card you will be able to try again; if we manage to debit your card but the transfer is not successful your payment will be refunded back to your card as fast as possible. 


Can I cancel my transfer? 

Transfers cannot be cancelled once we have received your payment and sent to your chosen local delivery method. 
 
What happens if my transfer via Send direct fails? 

If we fail to debit your card you will receive an automated email with the transaction details. If we manage to debit your card but the transfer is not successful your payment will be refunded back to your card shortly. Use your transaction history to see the status of every transfer you make in Skrill. you will be asked to try again;. 


Can I set the amount that will be received?
